Jeff Sweetin, a nationally celebrated speaker, trainer, and coach, has held executive leadership positions in Federal Law Enforcement, the Fortune 500 Corporate Security space, and a technology startup. In 2021 he left the C-suite to reconnect with his passion: developing leaders and executives. His company, GreyForge Partners, provides leadership development using one-on-one and team coaching strategies customized for client organizations.
During his diverse career, Jeff has lectured at numerous top-tier universities, international training facilities and private companies including a national hospitality corporation and the Pittsburgh Pirates Baseball Club. During his tenure in the US Government’s Senior Executive Service, he held positions as the chief executive for drug enforcement operations in the four-state Rocky Mountain Region as well as the agency’s Director of Training, where he led an international training program that included the DEA Training Academy in Quantico, VA. He instituted the agency’s first technology-enabled training program and oversaw the agency’s first successful FLETA accreditation. Early in his career, as an instructor, he designed and delivered DEA’s award-winning Ethics & Integrity Training Curriculum and designed a training program to prepare law enforcement personnel to cope with critical incidents. Jeff is a life-learner who holds a bachelor’s degree in Criminal Justice from Towson University and a Master of Education from the University of Virginia. His expertise in operations and leadership is the result of four decades in public and private organizations in positions including police officer, undercover narcotics agent, supervisor, manager, director, VP and Chief Operating Officer. Jeff is married, has two sons, and three grandchildren. |
