Kumar Kibble is a highly accomplished and experienced leader, who has dedicated his career to helping others achieve their full potential. As the CEO of GuideQuest LLC, he provides individual, group, and team coaching services to corporate and government leaders across the world. With successful coaching engagements involving hundreds of leaders, Kumar has established himself as a leading authority in the field of leadership coaching.

With a rich and diverse background, Kumar brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to his coaching practice. He has held a variety of leadership positions as a military officer, special agent, diplomat, and C-suite executive, leading high-performing teams across the globe. Prior to founding GuideQuest, Kumar was a senior vice president at ANDE Corporation, where he led the Homeland Security and Defense sales team and introduced innovative Rapid DNA technology into U.S. border security operations.

Kumar honed his expertise in leading large organizations during his time as the U.S. Department of Homeland Security deputy assistant secretary and deputy director (chief operating officer) of U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement. As the top career executive in Homeland Security’s largest investigative agency, he led a 20,000-person organization with a $6 billion budget in managing international operations, programs, and partnerships to counter transnational crime, terrorism, and illegal immigration. For his exceptional leadership skills, he was awarded the Presidential Rank Award. 

Kumar's dedication to serving others is rooted in his military background, having begun his career as an infantry officer in the 82nd Airborne Division and later commanding a civil affairs team during NATO peacekeeping operations in Bosnia and Herzegovina.

He is a graduate of the U.S. Military Academy at West Point and holds a Master of Science degree in Management from Johns Hopkins University. He is also certified by the International Coaching Federation as a Professional Certified Coach (PCC).

Kumar is a cancer survivor, adoptee, and proud adoptive father of three. He has been married to his wife Laura for more than 32 years.
