Leading People

Overview
Lead people toward meeting the organization's vision, mission, and goals. Provide an inclusive workplace that fosters the development of others, facilitates cooperation and teamwork, and supports constructive resolution of conflicts. 

This program shares principles and best practices related to leading people.  Participants engage in self-reflection and small group exercises to identify lessons learned from personal experiences.  Self-assessments identify gaps between current and needed performance levels in competencies.  Participants are introduced to the GROW coaching model and practice peer coaching during the creation of action plans to apply learning in the workplace. 

Objectives

• Inspire team trust, connection and commitment. Motivate team members to accomplish group goals.
• Provide ongoing feedback and opportunities for others to learn through formal and informal methods.​
• Encourage creative tension and differences of opinions. Prevent counter-productive confrontations. Resolve conflicts in a constructive manner.
• Foster an inclusive workplace where diversity and individual differences are valued and leveraged to achieve the vision and mission of the organization.
